Josie had hoped for a spontaneous labour and a water birth and although things didn’t turn out this way she stills feels that her labour was a fantastic, totally empowering and incredible experience.

Sophie tells about the positive experience she had when she welcomed her baby Elisa into the world. She had hoped to avoid an epidural but explains how grateful she was for the intervention and the care she received from the team looking after her.

Fran and Harry came on our HPHB premium course in Clapham. Fran had hyper stimulation of contractions and so found having an epidural very beneficial.

TJ and Tom really owned their birth experience. From the lovely, calming environment that they were able to create to the way that they trusted their team who helped them make informed decisions, they welcomed baby Miles on their terms.

Caroline and Vince used all the information they and learnt on the HPHB course to enjoy a really positive birth experience.

Charlotte's baby was breech and then turned a week before her due date. She thanks HPHB and Doctor Will for being there for her when she needed it the most, giving her information which helped her to feel calm and clued up and also for introducing her to her antenatal course mates who have become family.

Joanna had a great pregnancy but everything she didn’t want to happen during labour happened. HPHB explained different birthing options and scenarios so that there were no surprises and it left her and Miles really calm throughout the labour - overall she had a positive birth experience

Cathyrn didn’t have the birth she planned for, but she knew why it had to change route - something Happy Parents. Happy Baby had taught her and her partner Joseph.

Evy really enjoyed her pregnancy, and her birth was better than she expected. She says Happy Parents. Happy Baby we’re so transparent with all the details around birth, labour and after care that it eased any worries she had and helped her to feel prepared.

Despite a long labour, which resulted in Baby Oliver being born via emergency caesarean section, Alicja and Ricardo stayed calm and in control and having attended the Happy Parents. Happy Baby course in Clapham they felt prepared for each step, as it unfolded.

As Susie’s labour unfolded she started moving further and further away from her birth preferences, however both her and husband, Guy, kept an open mind, which helped calmly make decisions and stay in-control

Grace’s birth was long but overall she enjoyed it. She wanted a water birth and was anxious about the possibility of not getting it but Happy Parents. Happy Baby. helped her to realise that she could still have a positive birth experience without it.

Pia has mixed emotions as she looks back on her birth, but Happy Parents. Happy Baby. prepared her for all eventualities and gave her a wonderful support group of lifelong friends.

Cristina had a relatively easy pregnancy and says Happy Parents. Happy Baby. helped her during this period particularly with advice on perineum massaging and hypnobirthing practice. She had a difficult labour which resulted in the birth of a 4kg gorgeous baby girl, they are now home and really enjoying parenthood.

Whilst Thea was at the pushing stage and struggling a bit to keep going, Andy suggested she felt Baby Arthur’s head, which she explains was an incredible feeling and really gave her a boost. Andy and Thea say going on the Happy Parents. Happy Baby. course prepared them for labour and parenting and made such a difference to their experience.

Jung and Christopher had a positive experience, felt informed and prepared through the Happy Parents. Happy Baby. course and learnt how to become expert hospital bag packers…

When it came to having intervention during labour, Christine and Neil felt prepared because of the obstetrics session on the Happy Parents. Happy Baby. course and share their positive experience.

Cath and Enrique found the Happy Parents. Happy Baby. course helpful and reassuring and were particularly grateful for the session delivered by the obstetric doctor which helped them have a positive birth experience. They also took a lot into labour and delivery from the hypnobirthing part of the course.
