Grandparents are the best type of parents
It might have been a few years since you last cared for a baby, so our online Grandparents course is about brushing off the cobwebs and refreshing yourself with all the latest baby knowledge, ahead of the baby’s arrival.
Our Happy Grandparents Happy Baby course includes a portal with an extensive bank of videos and notes, as well as a live online session to ask any questions you have.
What you’ll learn
All the latest guidelines for caring for a baby: including safe sleep and feeding
Baby first aid: a full doctor-led course including choking, resuscitation (CPR), the recovery position, burns, fevers, febrile seizures, rashes and meningitis
Tips for how you might support different members of the family at this time
Practical skills recap: washing and dressing, nappy changing, feeding, settling a baby
Practical preparations: useful lists of what you might need at home or when leaving the house
Baby safety: baby proofing your home and items to have in your medicine cabinet

How the course works
1) Choose the month you would like to start the course (click + to expand dates)
2) Receive your course materials on the first Monday of your selected month
3) Watch the videos and read the notes at your convenience
4) Attend the live online Q&A session to ask any questions you have

The course portal will contain the Live online Q&A session

As you will have access to the course portal, you will able to view the content in your own time. If you cannot attend the live online Q&A session, this is recorded so you will be able to watch this back via your portal.
The course is non-refundable unless in exceptional circumstances, where this will be at the discretion of management.
