Winchmore Hill: where are the classes held?
Our Winchmore Hill antenatal classes are held at The Kings Head, on The Green which close to Winchmore Hill Station.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Alanna.
Alanna is one of the midwives that teaches our Winchmore Hill antenatal classes. She’s a highly experienced senior midwife with 10 years NHS service and 5 years in a leadership midwifery role. She’s passionate about improving people’s birthing experiences and their accessibility to personalised care.
How does this differ to NCT classes in Winchmore Hill?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Winchmore Hill are priced at £369, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Winchmore Hill take place at Winchmore Hill Baptist Church, whereas our classes take place at the Kings Head so you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.

Most of the people coming on our Winchmore Hill course are from Winchmore Hill and Palmers Green. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Enfield, Edmonton, Arnos Grove and Oakwood.
