Tunbridge Wells: where are the classes held?
Our Tunbridge Wells antenatal classes are held in the private room at The Claremont pub on Grove Hill Road which is close to Tunbridge Wells station.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Jess.
Jess is one of the midwives that teaches our Tunbridge Wells antenatal classes. Jess qualified as a midwife in 2014 from King's College London. She has spent half her midwife life in London and half in Kent where she currently works as a community midwife. She has a special interest in infant feeding and is working towards her IBCLC qualification. She says: "All of the options surrounding birth and new-parenthood can feel like a lot to navigate. I love helping guide you through all the possibilities so you are as prepared as can be and feel able to make the best decisions for you and your baby."
How does this differ to NCT classes in Tunbridge Wells?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Tunbridge Wells are priced at £299, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Tunbridge Wells are held at the Mercure Hotel, whereas our classes take place at Claremont Pub so you can relax in lovely surroundings and make the most of socialising with your course mates.
