Kentish Town: where are the classes held?
Our Kentish Town antenatal classes are held at The Vine pub on Highgate Road, a 7 minute walk from Kentish Town underground. It is also just 10 minutes from Tufnell Park and Gospel Oak underground stations.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Sofia.
Sofia is one of the midwives who teaches our Kentish Town antenatal classes. Sofia qualified as a midwife in 2019 from London City University at Homerton Hospital. She has worked across all maternity wards and currently supports postnatal women and families in the community once they’ve gone home from the hospital. Sofia says: “The most important tool through pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period is information and knowledge - I want to empower you by giving you all of that knowledge.”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Kentish Town?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, the nearest NCT classes close to Kentish Town are priced at £369, compared to £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes near Kensal Rise are held at Chalk Farm Salvation Army whereas our classes take place at The Vine pub you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.
