Glasgow: where are the classes held?
Our Glasgow antenatal and hypnobirthing classes are held at The Bungo which is on Nithsdale road. There is parking available nearby.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Hazel.
Hazel is one of the midwives who teaches our Glasgow antenatal classes. Hazel graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2012 and works as a community midwife in NHS Lothian. She is also a busy mum of 3 (2 boys and a girl) and in her spare time loves singing in a local choir and paddle boarding. She says ‘I love being a midwife and a mum and can’t wait to meet all the new parents to be and help support you throughout the magical journey of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood’
How does this differ to NCT classes in Glasgow?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Glasgow are priced at £299, compared to prices from £199 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. NCT classes in Glasgow are held at Leonardo Hotel whereas our classes take place The Bungo where you can relax in beautiful surroundings and make the most of socialising with your course mates.
Our local community
Most people on our Glasgow course are from Glasgow. The course is also popular with people living neighbouring areas of Shawlands, Rutherglen and Oatlands.
From walks in Richmond Park to hangouts in the coffee shops and at each other’s houses, graduates from our Glasgow antenatal classes are never short of things to do.
