Earlsfield & Wandsworth: where are the classes held?
Our Earlsfield and Wandsworth antenatal classes are held at the County Arms pub which is on Trinity Road which has a car park or free street parking close by.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Rebecca.
Rebecca is of the midwives that teaches our Earlsfield and Wandsworth antenatal classes. Rebecca qualified as a midwife in 2017, having completed her training at the University of Manchester. She moved to London following her degree and has worked in all areas of maternity care from the labour ward to providing postnatal home visits to new families in the community. She is now the lead midwife for maternity triage and the maternity day assessment unit. Rebecca says: “Pregnancy is such an amazing time, but sometimes the amount of information out there can feel a little overwhelming. That’s why I love providing parents-to-be with the tools and evidence based information to help them make informed choices. I really look forward to supporting you through this special time!”
How does this differ to NCT classes in Earlsfield & Wandsworth?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Earlsfield are priced at £369, compared to £259 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. The NCT classes in Earlsfield take place at Brathway Hall whereas our classes take place at the County Arms pub so you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates.

Most of the people coming on our Earlsfield course are from Earlsfield and Wandsworth. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Southfields and Wimbledon Park.
From walks on Wandsworth Common, to coffee shop hangouts on Bellevue Road and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Earlsfield and Wandsworth antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
