Clapham: where are the classes held?
Our Clapham antenatal classes take place at the Northcote Pub on Northcote Road which is a short walk from Clapham Junction station and is also easily accessible by bus.

Who runs the classes?
Meet Megan.
Megan is one of the midwives who teaches our Clapham antenatal classes. Megan graduated from Southampton University in 2010 and works as a community midwife. Outside of midwifery she is a busy mum to a little boy and loves to chase him around the soft play! She says ‘I can’t wait to meet you on the course and help you feel calm, confident and so excited about your journey to parenthood.
How does this differ to NCT classes in Clapham?
The reason NCT springs to mind first for many people when thinking about antenatal classes is because the classes have been around since the 1950s. For many decades they were the only form of antenatal classes available. This means many people believe that all antenatal classes are NCT classes, which is not the case.
The NCT is a charity and instructors complete a degree course to teach the classes. All Happy Parents Happy Baby instructors are midwives and doctors so have a degree but also thousands of hours of practical experience working in birth centres and hospitals.
Unlike NCT classes, our antenatal classes all include hypnobirthing and baby first aid at no extra cost. At the time of writing, NCT classes in Clapham are priced at £369, compared to £259 for Happy Parents Happy Baby antenatal classes. The NCT classes in Clapham take place at the Contact Centre (Holy Spirit Clapham) whereas our classes take place at The Northcote pub so you can relax and make the most of socialising with your course mates in lovely surroundings.

Most of the people coming on our Clapham course are from Clapham. The course is also popular with those living in neighbouring areas of Battersea, Queenstown Road and Vauxhall.
From walks on Clapham Common to coffee meetings on the Northcote Road and playdates at each other’s houses, graduates from our Clapham antenatal classes are never short of things to do together.
